Tree Power Free Tree Giveaway - Registration Open

Free trees are available to Garland residents as part of the Tree Power Free Tree program sponsored by Garland Power & Light and Garland Parks & Recreation. Trees can provide shade to save energy and beautify the community.


Registration: Monday, Oct. 23 at 8 a.m., until out of stock. 

Tree Pickup: Saturday, Nov. 4     

One free tree per household.

2003 tree varieties

•    Redbud

•    Red oak

•    Chinquapin oak

•    Shantung maple

•    Cedar elm

•    Bald cypress

A confirmation email, including pickup time window and location, will be sent to you after successful registration. Garland residence will be verified. 

On pickup day, bring the confirmation email with you. Trucks are recommended for easier tree loading.
